We’re proud of the best-in-class program and centre we’ve developed. Our expert, passionate and qualified educators are the final key to the unparalleled enrichment opportunities available to children and families at Inspire.
Our Devoted Team
We recruit – and continue developing – the best minds in the industry. For our professionally-certified early learning experts, Inspire is more than an opportunity to foster discovery in children. It’s a chance to grow personally and professionally while enriching the lives of children and families.
We take attracting and retaining high quality educators very seriously. Each member of our team goes through a highly selective interview process before being thoroughly trained in Inspire’s unique Reggio Emilia inspired approach.
In addition to ongoing training and staying on top of the latest research in early childhood learning and development, we provide each one of our educators with a professional development trip to the town of Reggio Emilia for a first-hand experience with the approach.
We have a dedicated head office team available from 7am-6pm who manage all administrative tasks, enrolments and parent enquiries. This enables our centre staff to dedicate their full time and attention to crafting a more meaningful learning experience for children.
Furthermore, a full-time house keeper ensures the centre is maintained and cleaned daily, while an onsite, experienced chef prepares fresh food for the children and complimentary, barista-made tea and coffee for parents and staff to enjoy.
Meet Our Team
We’re proud to introduce you to our team of Specialists who are working with Inspire to shape our unique program.
Inspire Director & Black Belt Martial Artist – Sam Alexander
Sam is one of our Inspire Directors, and has been teaching Martial Arts to children and families for the past ten years.
He holds a 2nd degree black belt in Karate and Jujitsu, and a 1st Gup in Taekwondo. His passion has led him to the early learning sector where he looks to inspire young children through fitness and movement.
Nutritionist & Wellbeing Coach – Skye Swaney
We’ve partnered with Skye Swaney, an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist with over 10 years experience, to develop exciting new menus for our centre.
During her career, Skye has worked in a variety of areas of nutrition, including with the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and as a Senior Dietitian at the Health Kids Association.
As a mother herself, Skye is passionate about teaching children about the importance of nutrition. Her delicious and nutritious kid-friendly meals centre on whole, in-season foods and healthy portions to further support your child’s learning experience.
Scientist – Alisa Bryce
Cambridge-educated scientist and writer extraordinaire Alisa Bryce has partnered with Inspire to create an unforgettable science program, complete with fun hands-on-experiments.
Alisa is a renowned writer and soil scientist. She graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture majoring in soil science, before studying at Cambridge University, completing a triple Master of Geography.
Her invaluable scientific explorations empower children at out centre to discover new ideas and build critical thinking skills.
Teacher – Shannon Vos
After completing a Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Education, Shannon worked as a primary school classroom teacher and gained first-hand experience in working with primary aged children. Her valuable time with kindergarten children has allowed her to understand that the school readiness program is not just about a child knowing their A-B-Cs or 1-2-3s. As an in-house teacher at Inspire, Shannon’s holistic approach supports the work of our amazing Early Childhood Teachers.
